How to waive a late fee that is showing paid on a Legacy policy
- Using the Receipts screen find the payment that paid the fee. Highlight the payment you want to check and click Receipt Activity. You can determine this by finding the line of an applied payment that does not have anything in the Symbol field.
- Highlight the line that was applied to the fee and press Manually Suspend.
- Go back to the Schedule and waive the fee as normal.
- If there is still a premium due go back to the receipts screen, highlight your suspended payment.
- Go to the Receipt Activity Detail screen.
- Click the Apply Suspense radio button.
- Apply to the oldest invoice and press Submit.
- If you are refunding the fee you can go to the same screen but click the Disburse Suspense radio button.
- Press Submit.
- Note the account in Exceed.
