Why is the agent/insured being advised that the zip code is incorrect when trying to make a payment on a Legacy policy

  • In FIS, do a customer search to make sure the insured doesn’t have a different zip code on file for their PayNow account.  If they do, they'll need to use the PayNow zip code listed. 
  • The zip code being incorrect is the generic message for all issues. 
  • Typically this occurs when a policy number is being used instead of the account number.
